Bad taping is the single most visible flaw in a home. Every joint, every corner, every screw pop telegraphs through paint under any raking light. We hang, tape and finish sheetrock the way finish carpenters do trim — obsessive. Three coats of compound minimum, each sanded flat between passes, corners taped with paper or metal-back, and a final skim across the whole plane where the light demands it.
